A group of Courier readers will be given the chance to provide feedback and ideas about our content, publishing platforms and digital subscription packages.

A focus group of eight people will help shape the future of the newspaper's online offering, including how the Highland News and Media app develops.

The main objective is to find out how people get their news and what type of news they value most.

The group, all living in the Courier patch, will be a mix of regular readers and people who might be attracted by our offerings occasionally.

The project will include monthly virtual meetings, which will be run independently and should last no longer than 60 minutes.

Information gathered will be used to enhance our products and provide a better tailored service for our subscribers - and in turn make for better informed communities.

As a thank you, each member of the focus group will receive a £75 voucher for a local business of their choice at the end of the six-month project.
